Patrick Halladay is a multi-talented artist developing his skills in painting, sculpting, and graphic arts - currently working primarily with acrylics on canvas. Patrick embraces a personal approach to his mostly abstract work, expressing his mind's complex visual inceptions with a curious and imaginative eye. Utilizing his background in psychology, he fills the pieces he creates with a depth of feeling and range of emotion, using alluring color choices accompanied by a clever use of shape and space. His brush, knife, and finger strokes are fusing, reaching, and bold as it animates your senses and pulls you into the intricacy of each painting. His work induces a cycle of inference and wonder that engages your attention with a gratifying sense of personal connection.

"With my artwork I want to remove your typical sense of reality, I want to form a discontinuity, one that you must ponder and establish your own meaning to. Avoid clinging to typical deductive strategies, searching for elements of familiarity and coherence. Instead, explore the art with a new sense of wonder and origin - let the piece take you. Our hearts and minds are unlimited in their extensions of beauty and passion. Let yourself indulge in this break from prescriptive beauty to find new meaning and feeling. Invest in your own imagination, and embrace in its new realm of sensation."
